About MLM Companies

Since 1983, I've looked at or been in more Network Marketing companies than I care to remember. Many, if not most of them, no longer exist.

Some were too restrictive.

Some were too new.

Some were pseudo MLM's with no basis in the real world. Many of them operated by mail but, today the Internet is flooded with the these.

The old line MLM's like Amway, Shaklee, and Herbalife are uphill battles: they are hard for the average person to do. Most people with a very negative MLM experience got it through Amway, though I suppose others have provided their own share of multi-level horror stories.

Today, you are likely to see Amway presented as Quixtar or Britt Worldwide. But under it's new cover, it's still the same old Amway with its old ways of doing things. Thankfully, better companies and marketing models have evolved over the years.

What I had once considered to be the very best MLM company no longer exists. That was Nutrition For Life, needlessly destroyed by greed and vanity under new ownership, by new management, after 18 successful years in the MLM industry.

Fortunately, the originators of Nutrition For Life, Tom "Big Al" Schreiter, David Bertrand, and Jana Mitcham jumped back into the game with a new company in the fall of 2002. Its called VitaMark.

Having been in Nutrition For Life for six years, I trust the people behind VitaMark, and it's the one MLM company that I can recommend without any hesitation.

Because Tom, David, and Jana were all MLM distributors, themselves, before beginning Nutrition For Life back in the mid 1980's, they understand what distributors need and can see this business through their distributor's perspective.
